Hendra Ikhwan, an innovative social activist, has made significant strides in community impact. He initiated the establishment of a local NGO in East Java, creating the “Gresik Bebas Katarak” movement. This initiative, which received considerable local acclaim and heartfelt support from the then Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, successfully conducted over 2,000 free eye surgeries.

With a grand vision to make Indonesia a leader in sustainable socio-economic innovation, Hendra founded the T.CARE Foundation five years ago. He has once again pioneered with the “Jelantah Bawa Berkah” program. This initiative integrates environmental activities with sustainable social efforts by collecting used cooking oil from the community to be processed into biodiesel. Through this program, a circular economy is created, generating resources to support various social programs, including education, public health, sociopreneurship, disaster resilience, and more.
